Possibilities

“A dream not followed by consistent action, however humble or small the actions may be, points to either a huge contradiction or a gigantic misunderstanding. Because when people get clear and realize just how powerful they truly are, wild horses can’t stop them from taking even the humblest of baby steps, every day.”

- Mike Dooley, Author of Infinite Possibilities

Sometimes it takes some fine tuning to identify future possibilities.

Left to our own devices (and I do mean devices) many of us fill our moments, minutes and hours with being on our phones, tablets and laptops. Yet when we distance ourselves from electronics and busy-ness we can ground ourselves and tune in to a different wave length.

When you let go of a practice that no longer serves you, you make room for one that does.

I’m not suggesting you throw your iPhone away, because these devices are essential for work, research and communication. But what happens when you occasionally set these things aside and intentionally make time and space to be still?

If you pray or meditate you know that wondrous things can arise in stillness. It opens your heart and mind to receive the awareness of possibilities. Experiment with being still and quiet. See what comes to you. At first you may find it challenging, but with repetition you will notice the gifts in the practice. Some people get words or images. Some people hear music or a familiar tune.

We are are all creative beings. We are all authoring the next chapter in our lives.

If you knew you could not fail, what would you do?

Here’s a little coaching for you: you get to choose. Be sure what you select is your own aspiration and not someone else’s desire for you. How will you know? You will be passionate and energized by your own true hopes and dreams.

These words belong to someone else, yet they resonate deeply with me and I want to share them with you:

Give yourself permission to live a big life.

Step into who you are meant to be.

Stop playing small.

You’re meant for greater things.
